Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson were interviewed on separate episodes of the Intimate Knowledge podcast with Meghan King, the former cast member on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Danielle shared in this podcast interview that she still thinks about Nick a lot and that the divorce has been awful, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Danielle explained that Nick has been kind to her in the press and that makes her want to chat with Nick again. She said, “There’s no real closure… Just getting divorced publicly without being able to talk to him, I didn’t act the best.”

When asked if they could ever date again, Danielle said “I’m going to be incredibly transparent about how immature I acted.” She said “it’s one of my biggest regrets.” She also noted that if they did date in the future, she would hope that the people in his life would be okay with that because of how she acted.

Both Danielle and Nick have given interviews about how bad filming Love Is Blind was in terms of not having food, water, and mental health resources. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Danielle said that she went to therapy for eight hours at a time when Love Is Blind was over.

Danielle said of her relationship with Nick, “It impacted both of us, and he did his best. It takes a lot of patience from both sides. But I was really glad to have him by my side during that whole period.”

Danielle is the one who filed for divorce and as she shared in an interview with E! News, she and Nick only texted after that point.

Danielle said, “I did file and he was very upset about it, even though I told him. He didn’t respond to that. And now, he’s still trying to punish me because of the fact that I did that. Even though we’re both stating the fact that we knew that it was best for us.”
