Kyle Richards says she and Mauricio Umansky are ‘free’ to date other people
Kyle Richards admitted she and Mauricio Umansky are “free” to date other people during their separation.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star got candid about her split from her estranged husband during an interview with Entertainment Tonight published Wednesday, admitting the two are “free to do what we want.”
While the Bravo star didn’t go into specifics about whether she or Umansky have dated anyone else yet, she did take the time to say she is not romantically involved with her close pal Morgan Wade.
“She plays a very important role in my life, as do a lot of my friends,” Richards explained. “Everyone is so focused on Morgan. I’ve seen my other friends getting edited out of photos, they’re just snipped right out, tossed to the side, you know?”
Richards, 55, further said so many people want to “create this narrative” that doesn’t exist.
The Bravolebrity said the primary reason she and the “Wilder Days” hitmaker, 29, have been spotted so frequently together in the past year is because she is producing a documentary about the country singer.
The documentary will follow Wade’s journey with breast cancer and her decision to undergo a double mastectomy in November 2023.
The “Halloween” actress holds the project close to her heart because her mom died of breast cancer in 2003.
Still, Richards and Wade only fueled the romance rumors when they played love interests in the songstress’ 2023 music video for “Fall in Love With Me.”
Other than Wade, Richards hasn’t been linked to anyone else. Umanksy, on the other hand, was seen partying with younger women in December 2023.
In clips obtained by TMZ at the time, the “Selling Beverly Hills” star, 53, was seen shirtless while with the singer Anitta, who wore a sports bra and ski pants.
The duo partied with a group in Aspen, Colo., where Umansky was seen fist bumping and standing close to Anitta as she twerked.
Only days before, the real estate agent hit the slopes with the singer and YouTube star LeLe Pons, who only wore bath towels.
However, Umansky went into dad mode a few days later as he celebrated Christmas with Richards and their daughters in Aspen.
The estragned couple — who announced their split in July after 27 years of marriage — share three daughters: Alexia, Sophia and Portia.
Richards also shares eldest daughter, Farrah, with her ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
