Epic Games Store database leak reveals several upcoming PC games including what appears to be a remake or remaster of a cult classic dinosaur shooter Turok.
Epic Games recently released a Steam Database-like page for their store and believe it or not, it didn’t take long before a bunch of unannounced games got leaked from the files.
In a post on ResetEra, user MondoMega shared a list of several games from big publishers like Sony, Bethesda, Square Enix and others.
Among these games, players discovered a couple of interesting unconfirmed projects – a new Turok game and the PC port of The Last of Us Part 2.
By the looks of it, the Turok game is in development at Saber Interactive, a studio that recently worked on various remasters like Crysis Remastered, so this could be a remake or a remaster of some sort and not a full-fledged new game.
As for The Last of Us Part 2, we already got reports that Sony are basically sitting on a finished port of the game which was ready for release for quite some time.
It’s not clear what’s the reason behind the delay. If I had to guess, I’d say the publisher are probably waiting for the second season of The Last of Us TV series to release the polarising sequel on PC.
Most of the other games found on the list are under codenames so it’s hard to say what they are but some ResetEra users have seemingly found Final Fantasy 16 to be another game that is coming to PC in the near future.
As always with leaks and unconfirmed info, I suggest you take everything with a grain of salt. It’s possible that some of the games found in this leak never see the light of day or were already cancelled so certainly don’t take these lists as a confirmation that a specific game is coming soon.
