MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant’ launched in 2009 and was aired up until 2014. Each new episode followed a new mom, a teenage girl struggling and dealing with the hardships of the pregnancy.
At the time, the show was something unique and never seen before, so it did exceedingly well at drawing in a core audience of fans.

Nikkole Paulun
Nikkole’s ’16 & Pregnant’ episode showcased her history with her boyfriend Josh and how they ended up pregnant.
In November 2009, Nikkole gave birth to her and Josh’s first son, Lyle Thomas.
The relationship between Nikkole and her baby daddy Josh didn’t pan out well, they separated shortly after the baby was born.
She gave birth to her second child in 2015, a daughter called Ellie Jade, with her then-boyfriend Ryan Rice.
Since 2021, she’s happily married to a man called Kyle and welcomed her third child.
The family couldn’t be happier as it finally got bigger.
